The horrifying video shows Jordan Holgerson 16 standing above Moulton Falls on the Lewis River in Yacolt Washington with her friends gathered behind her.
'No I won't go in' Jordan can be heard telling her friends as they try to pressure her to jump off the bridge.
She tells her friends 'no' a second time in the video but the group still rallies to get her to leap.
Then suddenly one man asks 'Ready?' and a female friend is seen shoving Jordan off the bridge.
The teen fell 60 feet into the water below landing with a horrifying thud as her friends gasped.
'Oh that's so f****d' someone can be heard saying off-camera.
Jordan speaking from her hospital bed revealed that Tuesday was her first time on the bridge.
'In midair I think I might have blacked out' she told KGW8. 'But I was aware and awake when I hit the water.'
Jordan said someone immediately swam out to rescue her after she hit the water.
She was then rushed to PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver Washington.
Genelle Holgerson the high school student's mother said Jordan suffered five cracked ribs and internal injuries after she was pushed off the bridge on Tuesday.
Jordan also suffered a bruised esophagus an injured trachea air bubbles in her chest and a punctured lung.

'She is lucky she is not paralyzed or dead' Holgerson told Thoroughbred Daily News.
'She is alert but in pain and is very tired. We're lucky she is going to recover and not have permanent injuries.'
It remains unclear how long Jordan will have to be hospitalized.
Jordan said her friend has since said sorry but that her apologies are not enough.
'I could've died' she said. 'It could've ended a lot worse is what I'm thinking about.'
Holgerson also revealed that the woman who pushed Jordan into the water is an adult.
Jordan speaking from her hospital bed revealed Tuesday was her first time on the bridge. She said she was 'aware and awake' when she hit the water
'I'm very upset with her' said the mother-of-four who believes the woman should turn herself in. 'She is an adult and I'm sure she should have known better.'
The Clark County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the incident.

The wildebeest who pushed her certainly did it with spiteful intention and force. I would hope shes prosecuted for attempted murder and serious bodily harm with intent.

It's not like pushing a friend into a pool. Landing badly in water from a height is really dangerous.

How on earth do come to that conclusion coast watcher? I would suggest that she was going to jump but subsequently changed her mind before some clueless halfwit pushed her..

The bully girl who pushed her off needs to be charged with assault attempted murder or anything else they can make up to stick on her. Cops along with the corrupt system are really good liars & making up stuff on others all the time so this should be no problem. This one needs to be in jail.

While this is a terrible incident it's also indicative of teenagers being mo rons and parents not teaching their kids that things can go wrong because "they're just kids they're just having fun". This is where lax parenting gets you. I'm sure these teens didn't intend to hurt the girl but unfortunately when you don't control your teen kids and know what they are up to then this kind of stuff happens.

This is called deprived indfference. It?s a crime and it?s punishable by law. As well it should be
BB glasgow 21 hours ago
deprived indifference means you sat back and did nothing while someone got hurt. that didn't happen here. the 'friend' actively did something by pushing the girl off the bridge.

I've watched someone who didn't want to jump off a bridge get called chicken by his friend until he did it. I then watched the divers try to find his body while his pregnant girlfriend stood there and watched. Things can go bad in an instant.

If any youngsters are reading this I would say......better to be a live chicken than the alternative. And......not doing something stupid does not make you a chicken.

He was like 20 and was with a family that happened to be next to us all day at the lake. I heard him saying no for a couple hours before this happened. I wasn't watching them all day. I didn't know these people and I had a big group of my own. They went to jump from a bridge that was like to the side of the lake we could see but wasn't right next to us. I didn't think he would go do it based on what he said but I didn't notice them leaving. I remember the guy's name even but not sure if I'm spelling it right Raymond Boyer. It was 2009 and it took me about 4 years to go back to a lake and never to that same spot again. I remember a lady from his group coming over to us after she said it was her son's friend that she had never even met him before that day and now she had to go tell his family he was dead. They also didn't find his body till the next morning. I was trying to find the news article it was at Canyon Lake in AZ.

This gave me goosebumps. Always teach your kids to never give in to peer pressure. Hopefully it will serve them through to adulthood. Tragic accidents that can easily be avoided are the worst to live with for the families and friends that are left behind.

Its scary getting pushed. I was pushed into a swimming pool and it was a shock. The boy lured me to the edge of pool because he said that my son who was 12 at the time was in trouble. As I got nearer he pushed me with such force that I just fell in. I never got near a pool again.

The female 'friend' who pushed her looks like she's a pretty big/strong person from what can be seen on video. I would've guessed it was a male who shoved her that hard/far.
