Recently, the "hui nan tian" phenomenon, or continued humid weather in southern China has been trending on Weibo. The walls become damp, furniture exudes water droplets, and clothes refuse to dry, creating a feeling that you can wring water out of the air.
"Hui nan tian" is a meteorological phenomenon which is caused by the combination of cold and warm air currents, bringing unbearable humidity and moisture between late spring and early summer. The phenomenon typically occurs during February and March, marking the resurgence of humidity in the spring.
3月的第一个“爆款”——回南天上线了。最近，“回南天”相关话题率登微博热搜。“中午一走出办公室，扑面而来的暖风让我不寒而栗。”“时间就像瓷砖里的水，回南天总会有的。” 墙上湿漉漉、家具冒水珠、衣物晾不干，感觉空气中都能拧出水……这种被潮湿支配的恐惧，令南方人崩溃，让北方人震惊。
