With the announcement of 20 new measures, will China forgo its dynamic Zero-COVID policy? The State Council's Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism has reiterated its commitment to cracking down on COVID-19 control malpractices, and urged localities to rectify improper implementation of the 20 new adjusted measures announced recently, China Central Television reported on Saturday.
As domestic outbreaks are spreading fast and widely, Wang Liping, a researcher at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention said the key to reining in infections is promptly and precisely detecting infections in communities, tracking down close-contacts and designating at-risk areas during the initial phase of a new outbreak.
近期，全国本土疫情呈现传播范围广、传播链条多、疫情波及面扩大的严峻复杂态势。针对当前的疫情形势，国家卫生健康委、国家疾控局已经派出工作组，督促指导地方坚持第九版防控方案和二十条措施不动摇、不走样，采取更为坚决、果断的措施攻坚，尽快遏制住疫情扩散蔓延的势头。
