At present, I’m taking an interpreting training program in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. I love sports, such as badminton and jogging. I am curious about new things, so I love traveling a lot. Enjoying picturesque scenery, tasting delicious food, and learning about unique customs are so appealing to me. I really enjoy being on the road! Within limited life, I hope to see more and experience more. I also like reading because there are so many interesting ideas in books. To me, it is some kind of journey too.
I joined GEC in March. To tell the truth, I once thought about quitting since it was a little tiring standing for two hours. However, the more I took part in it, the more I liked it. The organizers of GEC are very sweet and responsible. They spend a lot of time and energy in organizing activities, which moves me a lot and attracts me to keep joining in. I even get the inspiration for starting a similar English corner in Dali.
Here, I come across people of various walks of life and we talk about all kinds of things and share our experiences. My eye horizon is opened and my English improved. And most important, I made friends. I will return to my hometown in January. My days with GEC will be a most unforgettable memory during my one year stay in Guangzhou. Thank you, GEC. Gonna miss you!
