Hello, everyone. My name is Olive, a high school graduate from Tianhe Middle School. Right on the single day last year, I got enrolled by Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (double major in accounting and medicine). Friends around me always wonder why I choose majors from these two way too different fields. It can date back to my birthday of 16 when I went skiing on the ice and kneeled on the ice scraps for protecting a little girl form my ice skate shoes. After the "accident "all I thought was borrow a band-aid from the clinic there. However the doctor in the clinic told me I was wrong. He let me sit down in a chair and helped me clean up the wound with iodine carefully. Just at that time I felt the warmth in my heart and I swore that in the future I would either be  a doctor or be married to a guy who is doctor. Well since I have never met the Mr. right who is a doctor  so the "doctor" task falls heavily on me. All medical school in America don’t accept international students who apply for undergraduate courses.  And em Rutgers is famous for its Business School. All in all, these two selection come from that one for reality and one for dream.

Although my major can be put in the sort of “academic”, in my daily life i am also quite good at some artistic stuff. At the age of 16, I got the certificate of instructor of anti- gravity yoga. Then, in 17 year-old I got another one of oriental dance(that’s belly dance as you guys know). Meanwhile, i sometimes work as part-time translator in international dance festival. However, I started my professional dance training very late in Guangdong Modern Dance Company at the age of 14 for only one month. ——so its never too late to start a new life

It was an incredible coincidence to get engage in GEC activities. Frankly, i have never saw an volunteering organization for language learning can grow that successfully. In the wake of the development of GEC, all members have acquired extraordinary experience more than we’ve ever known.
