数据显示:中国结婚率明显下降 China's marriage rate has decreased significantly
The latest official data from China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) shows that 8.14 million marriages were registered in 2020, down 1.13 million from 2019 and the lowest level in 17 years. This marks the seventh consecutive year of decline in marriages since 2013.
One major reason is the unbalanced ratio of male and female. In China, men outnumber women by 34.9 million, the seventh National Census last year showed. Among them, there are 17.52 million more men in their 20s than women of marriageable age. In addition, the high cost of living, including soaring housing prices, is also a big obstacle to young people wanting to get married and have children.
据国家统计局近期发布的《中国统计年鉴2021》，2020年，官方统计的结婚登记人数共计814.33万对，自2013年以来连续7年下降，且创下2003年以来的历史新低。由于我国从上个世纪80年代以来出生性别比偏高，男多女少现象比较普遍，这也是导致近年来结婚登记人数下降的一个重要原因。
