里约奥运开幕了，中国军团加油! Rio Olympic Games raises its curtain
The Rio 2016 Olympic Games kicked off in Aug. and China's athletes are getting ready to give their best performances on the world stage. It's taken the Chinese Olympians four years of preparation and perspiration to get to this day -- a time of triumph and honor, but also stumbles and sorrow.
Brazilian long-distance runner Vanderlei Cordeiro de Lima lit the Olympic cauldron in the opening ceremony of the Rio de Janeiro Games on Friday. According to the International Olympic Committee, the extravaganza was watched by up to 5 billion people around the world.
里约奥运赛程过半。在赛场内争金夺银、赛场外争奇斗艳的奥运大舞台上，中国军团也有着属于自己的喜、怒、哀、乐。里约奥运刚刚半程，中国军团的金牌数虽难以预料，但有一点却可以提前“盖棺定论”：这是自中国重返奥运大家庭以来，中国观众最欢乐的一届奥运会。
