中国人应该怎样学英语？English proficiency in China remains at a low level
Liu Jian started learning English while in middle school at age 13. It was a compulsory subject, and he took classes in it every day. He continued to learn the language in high school and college, until he began a master's degree program in 2009. Now, at age 30, he says he is still not confident in his English ability.
To help achieve better teaching and learning of English in China, a series of reforms have been drafted and carried out in recent years, including a reform of the English test in the national college entrance exams, reform of the college English curriculum and tests and a reform to establish a unified national English proficiency testing and rating system.
中国人英语学习的历史可以追溯到几百年前，最考试中国人用古老的书籍最原始的英语学习方法学英语，而后中国人学英语经历的不同时期，学习方法也在不断的演变。在今天中国人究竟该如何学英语呢？怎样才能告别“哑巴英语”，而让自己的英语达到能够进行“交流”的水平呢？
