Only eight days after its release, Wolf Warrior 2 had taken 2 billion yuan at the Chinese box office. On the screen, a soldier walks solemnly across a battlefield with the Chinese flag tied to his arm, held aloft and fluttering. Cheers reverberate around the theater. Some audience members even have tears in their eyes.
The number of China-made movies has exploded in recent years and, though many are exquisitely made, there are still a lot of over-hyped, low-quality ones that pop up from time to time. Wolf Warrior 2, on the other hand, shows just how good Chinese movies can be.
据“猫眼电影专业版”数据显示，8月8日0时，《战狼2》综合票房达到34.24亿元，正式登顶中国电影票房冠军的宝座。《战狼2》既没有小鲜肉等流量明星的加盟，又没有大IP（知识财产）的影响力，却成为国产电影今年以来最大的“爆款”。以至于从纸媒头版到网站头条，从微博大V到微信朋友圈都在讨论的一个现象级的文化事件。那么，《战狼2》到底为什么这样火呢？
