More and more Chinese are choosing to adopt an English name nowadays. Whether it's Lucy, Susan, Wendy or Josh, the name you pick for yourself soon becomes a part of your identity, representing your personality and sense of self.
Do you remember when you first decided to give yourself an English name? How about the story behind it? Was it the name of your favorite celebrity or movie character? Or the transliterated form of your Chinese name, perhaps? Maybe, if you were like me when I was little, you got it for drawing lots in your first English class.
随着时代发展的需要，从某种程度上，英文名成为一种时 尚、潮流和必要，比如说在外企公司里，往往需要起个英文名字。出国出差及旅游、与人交谈交流也会方便许多。所以起个得当的英文名字对每个人，尤其是年轻人，变得越来越重要。但是，很多人并不知道如何起英文名，往往胡乱起，结果产生很多问题。
