Instead of joining a package tour with a busload of strangers, traveling with friends can be extremely fun. It gives you not only more freedom in making arrangements, but also the chance to collaborate on itinerary plans, split the cost of tickets and lodging, take pictures for each other, and have companionship while navigating cluttered streets.
However, in real life, exploring new places and cultures with your dearest pals can sometimes be surprisingly stressful. No matter how well you know your companions and how long you two have been together, a trip will probably teach you something new about them.
