Recently, the "2019 Chinese Wage Report" released by Tencent's financial platforms have caught the attention of the public, and some of its figures provide a shocking moment for contemplation.
Only 22 percent of respondents who have worked for at least 10 years, earn more than 10,000 yuan a month. Considering the imbalance of China's economic development, the income level of different regions also vary a lot. In big cities 10,000 yuan may not be enough to lead a high-quality life at all. In a small county, one can live comfortably with 10,000 yuan.
