日本排放核污水，日料还能吃吗？ Can Japanese seafood still be eaten?
On July 7, China's General Administration of Customs (GAC) issued a statement banning the import of food from ten prefectures in Japan, including Fukushima, and implementing 100 percent inspection of food from other parts of Japan, especially aquatic products. This import restriction was initially issued in 2011, one month after the Fukushima nuclear accident.
However, the public concern over nuclear radiation has spread from food security to other products such as cosmetics. Yao, a college student, told our reporter that she uses quite a few Japanese cosmetic products and is now a bit worried about their dangers, and will consciously reduce her consumption in the future.
