The 15th day of the 1st lunar month is the Chinese Lantern Festival because the first lunar month is called yuan-month and in the ancient times people called night Xiao. The 15th day is the first night to see a full moon. So the day is also called Yuan Xiao Festival in China.
Customs and Activities:
1,Watching Lanterns.
2,Guessing Lantern Riddles.
3,Folk Dances: Lion Dance, and Walking on Stilts
4,Eating Yuanxiao
要说广州元宵节的重头戏，那肯定是逛广府庙会了，城隍爷出巡更是热闹非凡。今年的广府庙会在元宵节上午正式开锣，持续至正月二十一日，为期7天，设专场民俗文化表演、民俗巡游、非遗手工艺品制作展示、传统小商品展销、传统美食展销等活动。设置活动区、展示区、美食区、灯会区、商贸区五大区域，在展现形式上有青年庙会、水上庙会、地铁庙会、小巷庙会、祠堂庙会等，包含祈福文化、民俗文化、美食文化、商贸休闲文化等丰富内容。还等什么，出发！闹元宵咯！
Activity Procedure:
Step1: Gather at E entrance of GongYuanQian Metro Station.
Step2: Walk together to watch and play in the Lantern Fair of Beijing road.
Step3: Find a place to sit and have some Guangzhou famous Sweet Soup.
活动流程：
1. 地铁1/2号线公园前地铁站E出口集合
2. 逛北京路庙会，边走边聊边看边玩。
3. 北京路一带很多闻名小吃店，找一家休息喝糖水，吃汤圆。
