Across the world different versions of Mother’s Day are celebrated. However traditions to celebrate Mother’s Day vary from country to country. In USA Mother’s Day is known for cheerful celebration when mother are showered with gifts, greeting cards, cakes and things alike.
People in Thailand observe Mother’s Day in the month of August on the birth date of current queen, Sirikit. Another distinctive Mother’s Day celebration is observed in Ethiopia where families settle down for a get-together, sing songs, eat a large feast that is a part of Antrosht and make cheerful celebrations to honor motherhood.
妈妈在风华正茂的年纪有了孩子，从此在油盐酱醋中淡忘了自己。随着孩子慢慢长大，妈妈开始默默老去，银丝挂上发梢，皱纹爬上额头。吃了吗，多吃点，早点休息，照顾好自己，不管孩子身在何方，却怎么也走不出妈妈的牵挂。别总到了妈妈的生日才准备礼物，也别只是在母亲节那天才表达关心。
