中美女主播跨洋激辩中美贸易战 Different point of view for US public
China Global Television Network broadcaster Liu Xin has engaged in a live debate on the trade war between China and the United States on Fox Business Network at the invitation of Fox host Trish Regan. In their programs and personal exchanges on social media, the two broadcasters have clearly shown they have different understandings of the trade relations between China and the US.
But a bigger picture that should be borne in mind is that the trade war between the world's two largest economies — if it continues to escalate as the US administration seems intent on it doing — will deal a heavy blow to the world economy and force the global supply chain to be re-adjusted, which will come at the cost of all countries, including the US itself.
北京时间5月30日早，CGTN女主播刘欣应约与FOX商业频道女主播翠西里根(Trish Regan)就中美贸易等相关话题进行了一场公开辩论，在长达16分钟的对话中，双方就公平贸易、知识产权、华为、关税、中国发展中国家地位以及美方所谓的“国家资本主义”进行对话。有外媒报道称，这场辩论是电视史上的伟大奇观。翠西在节目中称这也是美国电视史上前所未有的对话，也是美国听到不同观点的机会。
