A college girl in South China's Guangzhou apologized on Sunday for accusing a migrant worker, who has already proved his innocence by showing the girl the empty photo album of his smart phone, of taking secret photos of her on the subway and exposing the man's face on social media platform on Wednesday.
A few days ago, the girl posted a video where she questioned a man squatting while holding a smart phone in his hands if he was furtively taking photos of her in the subway cabin. She demanded to check his photo album but found no such photos. However, the girl still posted the man's face online and claimed her interest had been violated. The girl received widespread criticism online for libeling and imposing cyber violence to the poor innocent man, who didn't know himself described as “a wretched and sordid geezer with skillful secret photography technic”.
6月7日，一段拍摄自广东广州地铁8号线的视频广为流传。视频中，一女子看见一中年男子蹲着玩手机，怀疑对方是偷拍自己，要求检查相册。中年男子同意让女子检查相册自证清白。随后，该女子在网络曝光大叔是猥琐男，称其手法娴熟不是第一次作案，并表示既然没有偷拍，那他为什么不为自己发声。
