Simon Johnson doesn't like the term "cut and paste job". It refers to repetitive, routine tasks that are gradually being replaced by AI. "But could AI have done it better than me? Perhaps. So I would have not had that opportunity to work with Nobel Prize winner and to absorb the knowledge and the ideas and have the conversations and so on."
So the rise of AI has made the first rungs on the career ladders precarious or harder to access. People want to work, but they want to work in meaningful jobs, jobs with dignity, jobs where they can earn a good living, take care of their family, have a decent place to live and their children can do better.
一个美国公司的CEO曾经说，那些做“复制粘贴工作”（"cut and paste job"）的人都会被解雇。“复制粘贴工作”指的是那些重复常规的工作，而这些工作正逐渐被AI所取代。AI技术的快速发展已经成为不可逆的趋势，普通人该如何把握其中的机遇？我们的工作是否会被AI取代？AI技术的发展又将如何改变我们的未来？
