A day for the young meeting dreams and friendship

Life is like a running river,never return. Take advantage of the young, a trip to go.

On October, 18th, the weather isn’t very good, but the members of Group 5 got to the Dongshankou subway station with exciting mood from different directions of the city. After taking the big family photo of GEC, we began our trip of dreams and friendship making around Dongshan District.

Dongshankou is a must-go tourist attraction which contains various cultural elements, including western style buildings, canton food and the old traditional Chinese old buildings and big old trees that attract more and more tourists coming here to explore and experience the Cantonese culture and taste the delicious food in Guangzhou.

When we exited the subway station, we took uncontrollable exciting feeling to start our trip. We followed the steps of our nice group leader, Azura.

We didn’t stop laugh and talk on our way until we arrived at the Church of Dongshankou. The Church isn’t big, but it is delicate. When you came here, you will think of that a lot of Christian read bible and prayed here at that time. We took a group of photos here---shot by our sunshine girl Maggie.

We introduced ourselves to each other when we are on our way. We known that some of us working in big company, some working in small enterprise... Although we work in different fields, we can talk very well. We can share what we have, our work, our dreams and our life to everyone in this short time, maybe that’s because we are young and all of us are dream catchers. We call this is a trip that the young meets the dreams and friendship.

On that day, the wind blew the leaves. The dripping rain sprinkled our faces and heads, but we still feel quite warm. The second stop we arrived in is the museum Titan, which contained lots of famous works of art. We enjoyed the painting, carefully listened the commentator telling us the story of the works.

After appreciating the beautiful collections in the museum., we took some beautiful photos around here. We continued our trip for searching the beautiful scenery. We went to several historical villas to look the the desk, chair,painting...at that time as if we came back to the time of that age.

The road is narrow but clean. There are many old trees and flowers on the both sides of the street. It looks petty beautiful. Our beautiful photographer took many excellent street snaps for us. Thanks a lot---Maggie.

With times went by, some of us felt a little hungry. We chose a small dessert shop to have a rest. We also met other groups eating in the shop. I thought the dessert in the small shop is warmly welcome because of its good taste and low price.

As a saying goes that eating in Guangzhou. We chose a traditional Cantonese restaurant for our dinner. We ordered several delicious dishes. I still miss the taste of the roasted pigeon in the restaurant. It’s one of the most impressed cuisines that I tasted in this world. Hah. Hope to eat again next time.

A trip makes us know each other. A good book is a good friend. So we like reading good books. A good trip makes us feel relaxing. Life is like a trip, don’t not have to care about the destination, care about the scenery along the way and the mood to see the scenery, care about the friends we meet along the travel road.
