The tour to Lingnan World

The first outdoor activity of GEC in 2020——Foshan Lingnan World tour, was finally carried out before the half of this year. Please follow my step to experience the GEC outdoor activity.
As a freshman to the GEC , I was both excited and full of expectation for this tour. At 2 o 'clock in the afternoon I arrived to the entrance of the Zumiao Metro Station. At this time, many guys were waiting out there greeting and chatting excitedly with their new friends or long lost friends as if they wanted to share everything they had not been able to share in the past few months due to the epidemic. Let’s have a look of our big group photo firstly.
I was assigned to Team 12, I would had 10 teammates. I caught my team with my first eye when I walked out the entrance. Do you know how I did that in the 200 crowd.
Ha,ha, it was because our team was particular distinguished with one unique tool. So what’s that? That’s a special paper fan with great handwriting created by our talented teammate, Evelyn.
After collecting, freshmen got their GEC badges. Then we start our trip to the Lingnan World. Of course, took a photo before trip was essential.
It didn’t take us much effect to find the Lingnan World. Lingnan World is located in the Donghuali area of Zumiao, Chancheng town, Foshan. It is the traditional commercial center of Foshan and also the historical and cultural core area of foshan. The cultural relics and monuments here are the most intensive, the largest in scale and the most complete in traditional style. Lingnan World save China one of the most complete ancient building group, a total of 22 in cultural relics, which is more ancient architectural complexes in the temple, Donghua state protection of cultural relics, other famous cultural relics protection, such as Jian's Family Villa, Marry House, Renshou Buddhist Temple, Ip man memorial hall, Fei-hung Wong former residence and so on, contains extremely rich historical and cultural resources.
With the lead of our captain Cindy, we walked every corner of the Lingnan World. It’s a pity that some places wasn’t opened , but we still visited some really nice places,our teammates took a lot of photos and a funny video at these places for memory.

I’m very grateful to had an opportunity to join GEC outdoor activity and met up with a gang of excellent and interesting, enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Thanks very much for the GEC organizers hardworking, I wish we could meet again.
